Michael Phelan hails from Yorkshire, UK. Its rich and varied landscape combined with a long, dramatic history has provided Michael with much inspiration for his song writing.
Inspired by Ryan Adams and Mark Knopfler, Michael crafts beautiful, yet viscerally emotive songs from a life fully lived.
With lyrics that tell tales, both true and imaginary, his music reflects the acoustic traditions of British Folk and
Americana. A dash of Blues and a hint of Gospel all serve to make Michael a truly original artist.
